In Our Mail June 18, 2009 HCEC, Once again we thank you for contributing to the enhancement of Hood Canal. Should it sometimes seem expressions of gratitude for the varied affairs you tend to are limited, be assured they exist, in many forms. One will occur in July as our family gathers at Tekiu Point to carry out Tom Barto's final wishes after a lifetime of Hood Canal joys: we'll be sharing special memories--like Tom and his five young spread out along the shore examining, discovering, fishing--that same way his five great-grandkids now experience similar treasures.
