The Brinnon Group supports development on Black Point that is of
reasonable size, fits with the rural character of Brinnon,
preserves the natural features of the area, and protects the
Hood Canal.
Center for Food Safety
A powerful organization that has been successful in fighting
against industrial aquaculture in the Pacific Northwest.
Friends of Burley Lagoon
A group dedicated to defending the Burley estuary’s ecosystem,
biodiversity, aesthetics, and recreational opportunities.
Great Peninsula Conservancy
A private nonprofit land trust dedicated to protecting forever
the rural landscapes, natural habitats and open spaces of the
Great Peninsula of Puget Sound.
Hood Canal Coordinating Council
A "Council of Governments" including the Skokomish and Port
Gamble S’Klallam Tribes and Jefferson, Kitsap, and Mason
Counties focused on Hood Canal.
Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group
HCSG has been instrumental in restoring salmon habitat around
Hood Canal to include Duckabush estuary, Big Beef Creek and
Seabeck Creek.
Kitsap Audubon Society
Promotes environmental education, nature study, the preservation
of wildlife and habitat, and the enjoyment and appreciation of
our natural areas.
NorthWest Watershed Institute
NWI provides scientific and technical support to protect and
restore fish and wildlife habitats and watershed ecosystems of
the Pacific Northwest.
